schools & community buildings
The MILE has funded the construction of a schoolhouse building in Tierra Santa, giving the children a place to learn and grow. The MILE has also beautified countless schools and other buildings within our partner communities in Tierra Santa, San Lucas Toliman, and Cerro de Oro.
wellness
The MILE has supported a hospital in Santiago by helping set up a new satellite clinic, cleaning solar panels, building a garden for patients and family, providing manual labor, and cleaning and organizing the facilities.
We have helped cover medical and transportation needs for children from our community in Tierra Santa, providing life-altering medical care from specialists in Guatemala City.
Concerts and community
On every service trip, The MILE regularly has live music performances and interactive community events in our partner villages Tierra Santa, Santiago, San Lucas Toliman, and Cerro de Oro.
